Alexia Perouse joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in January 2005 as the investment director in the Llife Sciences sector. Amongst other things, Alexia has developed investments in the medical device sector.

Alexia is doubly qualified with an MSc in Neurosciences and an MBA from IAE. She began her career at Chiron Vaccines before joining Parteurop Développement and carrying out operational and strategic assignments for biotechnology start ups. In 1999, she moved into venture capital at Sofinnova Partners where she played an active role in identifying opportunities in life sciences and in making investment decisions.

Since arriving at Crédit Agricole Private Equity, Alexia has in particular followed Biolipox (sold to Orexo in 2007) and Mutabilis (sold to Pharma Omnium International in 2009). She also began in Fovea Pharmaceuticals (sold to Sanofi Aventis in 2009). She set up the medtech portfolio by investing in SuperSonic Imagine, CircuLite, Eos, EyeTechCare, SpineGuard and Stentys. She currently sits on the boards of directors of six companies.

Bruno Montanari joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in January 2010, where he is currently a Director.

He began his career in 1999 in London as an Investment Banker in the Healthcare Groups of Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch, later joining the venture capital community first with CDP Capital, and later Atlas Venture (2004), responsible for several European portfolio companies in the biotech and medtech areas as board member or observer.

Bruno holds a PharmD from the Université René Descartes Paris V and a Masters in Strategic Management from HEC, France.

He currently sits on the boards of directors of several companies: Cytheris, Novate, Poxel, Themis, Xention and was as well a director of EOS imaging.

Emmanuelle Coutanceau joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in April 2007.

She holds a degree in agronomic engineering from the ENSAR in Rennes, a PhD in Microbiology from Paris VII University and a specialized postgraduate degree in pharmaceutical management from the Paris ESCP-EAP Business School.

From 2003 to 2006, at Pasteur Institute, Emmanuelle Coutanceau managed a fundamental research project on the immunosuppressive properties of a bacterial toxin. Her work led to several international scientific publications. In Crédit Agricole Private Equity, she has been actively involved in several investments. She currently serves as director on the board of Arcarios and as observer on the board of FlexGen, Medisse, ERA Biotech and Complix.

Cédric Lecureuil joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in September 2011 as a Life Sciences associate.

He holds a PhD in Immunology from Paris VI University and an Advanced Master in Strategy and Management of International Business from the ESSEC Business School. Cédric started his career as an advisor in Innovation Management at Innovaction, a Paris based consulting firm. From 2009 to 2011, Cédric was analyst in the Life Sciences team at Ventech, a venture capital firm.
