Daniel Balland joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 2001 to integrate the Expansion capital team.

He graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques Lyon, the Institut d'Etudes Européennes Strasbourg and holds a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in International Commerce (University of Lyon).

Daniel Balland began his career in 1968 as a teacher. He joined the retail banking arm of Crédit Lyonnais in 1977 where he acquired twelve years' expertise in corporate banking. In 1996, after a short period on the executive committee of a company, he joined Crédit Lyonnais' regional structures (Rhône Alpes and Méditerrannée) as a specialist in long-term financing (acquisition engineering and financing, private equity).

Eric Rey joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 2001 in the Expansion Capital team.

Graduated from the INSA Toulouse in Civil Engineering, he also obtained a Masters from the Euromed Management School Marseilles and acquired the CESA Finance qualification.

Eric Rey began his career in 1992 at Banque Hervet (HSBC group) as a Associate for SMEs and SMIs.

In 1995, Eric Rey joined the Crédit Agricole group, first at Unicrédit (corporate banking for large companies) and later moved to Crédit Agricole Indosuez as a manager of relations with major clients in the luxury, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and distribution sectors.
Then he joined the investment team, in 1998, within the Private Equity arm of Crédit Agricole first specialising in the "Agricapital" sector and later in Expansion Capital from 2001.

He began his career in 1994 at Banque Indosuez as a banker. Bertrand Tissot joined the Crédit Agricole group at the end of 1995 initially at Unicrédit as a manager of relations with major clients and then at Crédit Agricole Indosuez as a Credit Manager in the Loan Syndication department.

He joined the Private Equity arm of Crédit Agricole (now Crédit Agricole Private Equity) in 1999.

Then in 2000 he joined 3i Group, a UK private equity and venture capital firm, to work on majority leveraged buyouts (LBOs).
