Brief CV

Vice-Chairman of French private equity association AFIC, Fabien Prévost has been Chairman of the Management Board of Crédit Agricole Private Equity since July 2004, where he set up the Venture Capital business in 2000.
Under his aegis, the company has seen robust growth, building up its expertise in traditional areas (LBO and expansion capital, venture capital), launching new activities (renewable energy, PPP infrastructure projects) and expanding outside France.

Voted “Personality of the year 2007” by Capital Finance, Fabien Prévost is a member of the Board of Directors of AFIC, and has been Treasurer and Chairman of the “Statistic and Economic Research Committee” since June 2009.

He graduated in Civil Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of California-Berkeley.

Fabien Prévost began his career as a Consultant in the United States before moving to Paris where he joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Senior Consultant in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
From 1988 to 1991, he specialised in mergers and acquisitions, initially within the M&A division of First Boston Corp in New York and then at Financière Indosuez in Paris.
In 1992 he founded Proxidis, a specialised distribution group that was floated on the Paris Bourse (Nouveau Marché) in 1996.

Brief CV

Frantz Paulus joins Crédit Agricole Private Equity as Investment Director in the Co-Investment activity under the responsibility of Fabien Prévost, Chairman of the Management Board.

Frantz Paulus holds a Masters degree from Reims Management School and the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
In 1998, he began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London as an auditor. In 2001, he joined their Transaction Services department, in Paris, as a manager. Since 2006, he has been Investment Director at Ifrah Finance, a Family Office investing in pharmaceutical and biotech R&D development firms.
