Head of Venture Capital activities

Antoine Colboc joined Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity (now Crédit Agricole Private Equity) in 2000 as a Partner in the Venture Capital team. In July 2002 he was appointed Head of Venture Capital activities.

Graduated in Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris, he is specialized in the high-tech field.

Antoine Colboc began his career in 1977 at IBM France in the Sales and Marketing department. In 1985 he joined Europe's leading computer leasing group, ECS, as General Manager of its UK and later its Japanese subsidiaries. He joined Russell Reynolds, an executive recruitment firm in Paris, in 1993 as an Associate Director and was responsible for the IT and telecoms sectors.
He moved into the venture capital business in 1999 when he co-founded Netcre@tion, an independent management company specialising in raising seed money for technology companies.

Dr Guinot joined Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity in July 2001 to create the firm's Biotechnology and Life Sciences investments portfolio.
 
Dr Guinot is a Medical Doctor and an anesthetist. He also holds a PhD in Life Sciences and is the author of numerous international scientific articles. From 1977 to 1994, he pursued his career in the pharmaceutical industry in business and drug development, working for several international laboratories in Switzerland, France, Germany and the UK.
 
During this time, he was in charge of the development of new drugs, several of which are marketed today. He was also appointed Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Davis, from 1992 to 1996. Dr Guinot then managed three US and French Biotechnology companies in France. He currently serves on the boards of eight companies and on the finance advisory board of AFMTéléthon (French Muscular Dystrophy Association).

Renaud Poulard joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in September 2005 as a Partner. He will focus largely on the telecommunications sector.

He graduated from the School of Optics in 1990 and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Renaud Poulard began his career at the CEA (French Atomic Energy Commission) as a Research Engineer in lasers. He joined SAT in 1991 where he furthered his career as an Engineer and later Project Manager focusing in particular on telecoms networks and data transfer technologies. After the takeover of SAT by Sagem in 1996, he became Head of Programming on optoelectronics equipment and later worked on a business development project on the IT security markets (PKI).
In 2001 he was appointed Head of Investments and later General Partner at SPEF eFund (Natexis group).

Michel de Lempdes started his career at Crédit Lyonnais Americas, where he was involved in the structuring of LBO operations and the creation of a private equity fund of funds at Crédit Lyonnais' Leverage Finance Sponsor Group in New York.
 
Graduated of the Reims business school, Michel de Lempdes joined the Crédit Agricole Private Equity venture department in January 2001, where he is responsible for investments in the area of electronics. Michel serves as a director on the boards of EVE, Avertec, Si Automation, Novaled, and as an observer on the boards of Tronic's and Dibcom.

Marc Devillard joins Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in February 2008 as Investment Director for the software and Internet sectors.
 
He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Corps des Ponts et Chaussées engineering school. He also has an MBA from the INSEAD business school.

Marc Devillard began his career as a field engineer in Papua New Guinea for Spie Capag. In 1993, he joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant specialising in the financial and industrial sectors before moving to Mitchell Madison Group as senior project manager. In 1998, he was appointed Business Development Director at BIC S.A. Then in 2000, he became chief operating officer of Cytale S.A., producer of the first European e-book, the Cybook, and was appointed member of the management board. In 2003, he joined Microsoft France as head of the "Information Worker" product line. Two years later, he was appointed head of marketing operations and then in 2006 head of planning and marketing operations for Western Europe. Since 2007, he has been Senior Manager in the Telecoms/Media division of management consultancy Arthur D. Little.

Bernard Nabet joined the Venture Capital department of Crédit Agricole Private Equity in September 2005, as an Investment Manager and will focus mainly on the IT sector. Since 2007, he is based in Tel Aviv to develop the fund of fund activity in Israel.

He graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique, Informatique et Radiocommunications (French engineering school) in Bordeaux and holds a DEA (post-graduate diploma) in Applied Physics and Microelectronics and a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in Business Administration from the IAE (institute of business administration) Paris.

Bernard Nabet began his career as a Research Engineer at France Telecom R&D in the optoelectronic laboratories, and later worked for several years in consulting at Arthur Andersen and later at A.T. Kearney Interactive. He managed many projects in the areas of consulting, design, architecture and deployment of business IT systems.
In 2000, he co-founded Negopartner, a company specialised in "e-sourcing" solutions for SMEs. As CEO, he was in particular responsible for strategic planning, development and financial control.
He started working in the field of Private Equity in 2001 when he was hired as a Partner in the Spef eFund structure of the Venture Capital department of the Natexis group.

Alexia Perouse joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in January 2005 as partner in the Life Sciences sector.
 
She holds a MSc in Neurosciences from the University of Lyon and a MBA from the Institute of Administration of Enterprises (Lyon).
 
Alexia Perouse started her career in 1996 as project leader for Chiron Vaccines and then as project manager for Parteurop Développement. She was in charge of the valorization of innovative projects and start-ups in the Biotechnology field. In 1999, she joined the venture capital activity as associate in Sofinnova Partners and has been actively involved in the decision-making on several investments. She currently serves on the boards of four companies.

Xavier Brunaud joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's venture capital team in July 2007 as an associate.

He holds both a DESS (specialised postgraduate diploma) in Banking and Finance Law from Sorbonne University and an MSc in Management from EM Lyon Business School (specialised in Corporate Finance).

Xavier Brunaud began his professional career in 2005 as an analyst with SGAM AI Private Equity's venture capital team. He has also worked with BNP Paribas New York (Corporate and Investment Bank) for 16 months within the Loan & Portfolio Management team (Credit Derivatives area) in charge of Cooke Weighted Assets savings realised through financial products such as Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLO's) and Credit Default Swaps (CDS).

Emmanuelle Coutanceau joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in April 2007.
 
She holds a degree in agronomic engineering from the ENSAR in Rennes, a PhD in Microbiology from Paris VII University and a specialized postgraduate degree in pharmaceutical management from the Paris ESCP-EAP Business School.
 
From 2003 to 2006, at Pasteur Institute, Emmanuelle Coutanceau managed a fundamental research project on the immunosuppressive properties of a bacterial toxin. Her work led to several international scientific publications.

François-Xavier Dedde joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's venture capital team in September 2006.
 
He holds both a degree in IT engineering from the ESIEE in Paris and a Masters specialised in finance from the Lyon School of Management.
 
François-Xavier began his professional career in 2004 as an analyst with Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity's venture capital team (now Crédit Agricole Private Equity). He has also worked with Calyon New York (Crédit Agricole's corporate and investment banking arm) where his responsibilities included analysis of major North American accounts.
