Head of LBO/Expansion activity

Eric Pencréac'h joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 1999 after participating in the creation and development of Crédit Lyonnais' Acquisition Financing department.

He obtained a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in Finance and Tax in Paris.
 
Eric Pencréac'h began his career at Crédit Lyonnais in the Corporate Banking division before assuming responsibility for a regional corporate business centre from 1991.
Still at Crédit Lyonnais, he became Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and worked on a dozen LBO deals in which the Bank was usually acting as arranger or co-arranger.

Daniel Balland joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 2001 to integrate the Expansion capital team.

He graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques Lyon, the Institut d'Etudes Européennes Strasbourg and holds a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in International Commerce (University of Lyon).
 
Daniel Balland began his career in 1968 as a teacher. He joined the retail banking arm of Crédit Lyonnais in 1977 where he acquired twelve years' expertise in corporate banking. In 1996, after a short period on the executive committee of a company, he joined Crédit Lyonnais' regional structures (Rhône Alpes and Méditerrannée) as a specialist in long-term financing (acquisition engineering and financing, private equity).

Eric Rey  joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 2001 in the Expansion Capital team.
 
Graduated from the INSA Toulouse in Civil Engineering, he also obtained a Masters from the Euromed Management School Marseilles and acquired the CESA Finance qualification.
 
Eric Rey began his career in 1992 at Banque Hervet (HSBC group) as a Associate for SMEs and SMIs.
In 1995, Eric Rey joined the Crédit Agricole group, first at Unicrédit (corporate banking for large companies) and later moved to Crédit Agricole Indosuez as a manager of relations with major clients in the luxury, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and distribution sectors.
Then he joined the investment team, in 1998, within the Private Equity arm of Crédit Agricole first specialising in the "Agricapital" sector and later in Expansion Capital from 2001.

Bertrand Tissot  joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in the Expansion Capital team in 1999.
 
He is graduated in Civil Engineering from the Ecole des Mines in Saint-Etienne and holds a degree in Economics.
 
Bertrand Tissot began his career in 1994 at Banque Indosuez as a banker. He joined the Crédit Agricole group at the end of 1995 initially at Unicrédit as a manager of relations with major clients and then at Crédit Agricole Indosuez as a Credit Manager in the Loan Syndication department. He joined the Private Equity arm of Crédit Agricole (UI - now Crédit Agricole Private Equity) in 1999.

Philippe Zurawski joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in April 2002.
He holds an MSG (a Masters in Management) and a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in Tax and Financial Management from the University of Paris 1- Panthéon Sorbonne.
 
Philippe Zurawski began his career in 1995 at Arthur Andersen as an Auditor before moving to the Corporate Restructuring Services (acquisitions, disposals and restructuring) as a Senior Consultant. Then in 2000 he joined 3i Group, a UK private equity and venture capital firm, to work on majority LBOs.

Nicolas Trombert joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in January 2001.
After obtaining a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in Corporate Appraisal from the IAE Lyon, he acquired a first experience in expansion capital and LBOs at the SPEF.

Benjamin Arm joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in March 2006.
 
Graduate of the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, he also holds a Master Entrepreneurs from HEC and an undergraduate degree in economics.
 
Benjamin Arm began his career in 2001 with Arthur Andersen. He subsequently joined Ernst & Young as a senior project officer in the Transaction Advisory Services Department, where he was involved in transactions on behalf of investment funds while also advising on restructuring projects.

Jacques Simon joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in September 2000 as an Associate.
 
He graduated from the IHEDREA in Agricultural Economics and holds a post-graduate diploma from the ISG (institute of management). 

Jacques Simon began his career in 1997 at the Hong Kong branch of Crédit Agricole Indosuez as an Associate in Corporate Banking. He then joined the middle office to work in property leasing at Ucabail.

Mikaël Schaller joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Expansion Capital team in June 2005.

He graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques Strasbourg and holds a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering from the University of Paris-Dauphine. He has a sound approach to the fields of private equity and LBOs based on his experience with CIC's acquisition financing team.
