Chairman of the Management Board

Fabien Prévost was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Crédit Agricole Private Equity in early July 2004. He joined Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity in 2000 to create the Venture Capital activity.

He is graduated in Civil Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of California-Berkeley.

Fabien Prévost began his career as a Consultant in the United States before moving to Paris where he joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Senior Consultant in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
From 1988 to 1991, he specialised in mergers and acquisitions, initially within the M&A division of First Boston Corp in New York and then at Financière Indosuez in Paris.
In 1992 he founded Proxidis, a specialised distribution group that was floated on the Paris Bourse (Nouveau Marché) in 1996.

François Lecointe was appointed Corporate Secretary of Crédit Agricole Private Equity in September 2006. He is member of the Management Board.
 
He is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and from Ecole Nationale de Statistique et d'Administration Economique.
 
François Lecointe began his career as an economist at the OFCE, before moving to Caisse des Dépôts (CDC), joining the Economic Research Department. He was appointed head of the department in 1992.
From 1995, he managed in-house fixed-income portfolios, then cash management of CDC. In 1999, he was appointed head of Asset-Liabilities-Management and contributed to creating IXIS, of which he became Deputy Finance Director, then Chief Investment Officer.
In 2003, he joined Groupe Egis, an engineering company, as CFO and Corporate Secretary. More recently, François Lecointe participated in creating Meridiam, a fund dedicated to investment in PPP infrastructure assets.

Marc Benchimol was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of Mezzanis SA in November 2002.
 
As well as holding an MBA from the HEC business school (ISA), he also graduated from the Ecole Centrale Lyon in Engineering and from the Centre des Hautes Etudes de la Construction in Civil Engineering.
 
Marc Benchimol began his career in 1982 as a Project Engineer in the nuclear industry, and went on to manage a scientific software team at Framatome.
In 1990 he joined Crédit Lyonnais where he pursued his career in investment banking. For six years he worked on consultancy assignments in mergers & acquisitions, long-term financing deals and corporate finance for manufacturing, services and property companies. In 1996, he became Senior Manager in the Leveraged Finance department, arranging senior and mezzanine financing for LBOs of all sizes. In October 2000, Marc Benchimol joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity as Senior Partner for the LBO fund and worked in private equity for two years. Among other positions, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board for the Marc Orian group.

Antoine Colboc joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 2000 as a Partner in the Venture Capital team. In July 2002 he was appointed Head of Venture Capital.

Graduated in Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris, he is specialised in the high-tech field.

Antoine Colboc began his career in 1997 at IBM France in the Marketing and Sales department. In 1985 he joined Europe's leading computer leasing group, ECS, as General Manager of its UK and later its Japanese subsidiaries. He joined Russell Reynolds, an executive recruitment firm in Paris, in 1993 as an Associate Director and was responsible for the IT and telecoms sectors.
He moved into the venture capital business in 1999 when he co-founded Netcre@tion, an independent management company specialising in raising seed money for technology companies.

Stéphanie Courtadon joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in January 2008 as Head of Marketing & Investor Relations. 
 
She holds a Master's degree in Business Law and Taxation and a DEA post-graduate diploma in Environmental Law from Pantheon-Assas Paris II University, as well as a Master's in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC business school.

Stéphanie Courtadon began her career in 1994 as a lawyer at SOLLAC (part of the ARCELOR group) and then at a variety of law firms. In 1999, she joined HSBC Epargne Entreprise as head of mutual fund products as part of the Marketing & Communications department. In 2002, she joined AXA Investment Managers as head of institutional marketing in France. From 2005, she was Head of Global Marketing Coordination, responsible for coordinating AXA Investment Managers' marketing activities around the world.

Thierry Déau is a graduate of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris. He began his career as a water industrie engineer with GTM International.
 
He joined Egis Projects in 1995 as head of developement, financing and management of infrastructure projects and as a member of the board of several operating companies. In 2001, he moved to the US engineering firm Aecom Global Technology to develop an independant business consisting of specialised investment in projects financed through private-public partnerships.

Roland Derrien is records more than 15 years of experience in private equity. He started with Clinvest in Mergers and Acquisitions and then joined the "Consortium De Réalisation" of Crédit Lyonnais as Managing Director. In 1998, he joined Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management to create the Private Equity department. He then managed the Expansion Capital activities within Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity.
 
He graduated from the Statistics Institute of Paris and majored in econometrics. He also holds a specialized Master diploma in Marketing Strategy from the IEP (Institut d'Etudes Politiques) of Paris.
He started his career as financial analyst. Then he became a banking advisor in the fields of electricity, electronics and IT.
Roland Derrien is a member of the SFAF (French corporation of financial analysts) where he taught corporate valuation.

At the end of 2005, Arnaud Mauduy created EXITIS, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Private Equity.
 
Barrister at the Appeal Court of Paris (1996-2001), Arnaud Mauduy specialized in long-term equity financing with various business law firms. SImultaneously, he participated in the launch of companies in the services and fast-food sectors.
In 2001, he joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity where he headed the legal and fiscal department. For five years, he strucured, coordinated and executed investment and divestment operations.

Frantz Paulus joins Crédit Agricole Private Equity as Investment Director in the Co-Investment activity under the responsibility of Fabien Prévost, Chairman of the Management Board.

Frantz Paulus holds a Masters degree from Reims Management School and the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
In 1998, he began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London as an auditor. In 2001, he joined their Transaction Services department, in Paris, as a manager. Since 2006, he has been Investment Director at Ifrah Finance, a Family Office investing in pharmaceutical and biotech R&D development firms.

Eric Pencréac'h joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 1999 after participating in the creation and development of Crédit Lyonnais' Acquisition Financing department. In 2006, he was appointed head of Crédit Agricole Private Equity LBO & Expansion activity

He obtained a DESS (specialised post-graduate diploma) in Finance and Tax in Paris and began his career at Crédit Lyonnais in the Corporate Banking division before assuming responsibility for a regional corporate business centre from 1991.
Still at Crédit Lyonnais, he became Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and worked on a dozen LBO deals in which the Bank was usually acting as arranger or co-arranger.

Serge Savasta joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 2006 as Investment Manager in the Renewable Energy business line. In 2008, he was appointed head of the activity.
 
He has an engineering degree from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics of Paris and a MBA from HEC Paris.
 
Serge Savasta started his career in 2000 at Crédit Lyonnais as Financial Markets IT Advisor. In 2002, he became Associate and then Relationship Manager in the bank's structured finance department (now Calyon).

Martine Sessin-Caracci joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in November 2005 as Communications Director.
She holds both a DESCF and a master from the business school ESC Bordeaux. 
 
Martine Sessin-Caracci began her career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen. In 1989, she joined CPR, an investment bank, where she held different positions within the financial department. She was appointed head of financial communications in 1998. In 2001, she joined the Euler Hermes Group, a subsidiary of the AGF Group, as Communications Director. Early 2004, she was named Communications Director of the AGF Group, in charge of press relations, internal communications, corporate website and brand management.
